The Great Outdoors

I love this park. The playground is fun, and it's surrounded by baseball fields, tennis courts, plenty of grass to play sports, a pool, a frisbee golf course, and a long walking trail. There are always families riding bikes with their kids, playing golf, and having picnics here. I love how family-oriented it is. I try to take Analyn a few times a week; and every day if it's sunny!

Playing in the mulch. Later that day when we were walking around the downtown, Ana kept whimpering, "shoe, shoe," and I couldn't figure out why. Finally I took her shoe off to find out what was wrong and there was a handful of mulch inside! How uncomfortable! Poor girl.

Some cute baby ducks we found at the Greenbelt: the park and running trails that surround the waterfalls downtown. Thad saw some fuzzy yellow ducklings on his run around the Greenbelt one day, and we went back later that evening to show Analyn but we couldn't find them. But we did see TONS of ducks, geese, and some kind of birds that we couldn't identify, all waddling around like they owned the place. Analyn was in heaven. She loves ducks. On the way back to the car, she kept saying "ducks! ducks!" over and over because she was so sad to leave them.

Walking around the Greebelt. Isn't it gorgeous? More so now that the trees are in bloom and the snow has melted.
