Old Fogies

One of our favorite Sunday past-times is playing Rummikub. I think Thad likes it because while he's waiting for me to make my move, he thinks of new words to insert into familiar tunes, like, "Once, twice, three times a Lindsay," instead of, "Once, twice, three times a lady." I like it because I usually win. It all started with my grandparents. Thad and I stayed with them for a night in Rigby while we looked for housing a few days before our senior year at BYU-Idaho(two years ago). When we arrived, Grandma and Grandpa Monk were playing Rummikub. I've never seen my grandparents move so fast. Their fingers moved around placing, replacing, and arranging chips on the table. Thad and I had so much fun playing with them that we went out and bought the 60th Anniversary Collector's Edition.
