Thad's Very Special Day

He should create a journal and then write about his big day. Because he got to buy his first lawn mower, mow his yard for the first time, AND put together the new grill that I gave him for his birthday last week. Two pretty big milestones in a man's life. He was pretty stoked.



We all kind of hung out in the garage, watching Thad put the lawn mower together, and when he finished, I watched him mow lawn for a good 20 minutes. It was pretty exciting.





Ok so he mostly cut the weeds since the grass ism't very tall yet, but let me tell you, it made a world of difference!



Our poor backyard; it's struggling. We're not sure why the grass isn't growing as well back there. From what everyone told us, you'd think we could put down seed one day and have beautiful, lush green grass a week later!

It would have been a perfect end to an awesome day if we could have grilled this pizza on the new grill. But we were robbed of that privilege, because Brinkman forgot to include the main grill plate in the box. So we cooked pizza in our oven one more time. And it was still pretty good!
